Up-to-1-year CD rates - U.S.

When you have money that you know you won't need in the next year, it's worth considering the rates available for CDs with up to 12-months terms. For example, a portion of your more-12-months-of-expenses emergency fund could go in one or more CDs with up-to-12-month terms if you won't need to be able to access all of those funds at once.

You will also want to compare the rates available in more liquid account types such as savings accounts, money market accounts, and checking accounts. You can do that by choosing additional account types with the Account Type filter.
