Capital One has increased the sign-up bonus for the Capital One® Venture® Rewards Credit Card to earn 50,000 miles (worth $500 toward travel) after spending $3,000 in the first 3 months. Previously, the bonus was 40,000 miles with the same initial spending requirements. At the same time the annual fee, which is waived for the first year, was increased from $59 to $95.

The $500 sign-up bonus alone is a good reason to consider seizing this offer. Since the Venture card earns 2% toward travel on all spending, many people may also want to use it as their daily driver. Keep in mind that Capital One seems to have a limit of two personal cards per person. They also seem to limit people to one new Capital One card every six months.
