American Express has increased the sign-up bonus on its Blue Cash Everyday® Card from $100 after spending $1,000 in 3 months to $150 after spending $1,000 in 3 months.  Similarly, it has increased the sign-up bonus on its Blue Cash Preferred® Card from $150 after spending $1,000 in 3 months to $200 after spending $1,000 in 3 months.

It’s always nice to see an issuer increase their base offers. However, at times in the past the Blue Cash cards have been offered with sign-up bonuses as high as $250 with just a $1,000 spending requirement plus the possibility of earning 10% cash back on up to $2,000 in spending in categories like restaurants, wireless phone, and Amazon. Since each American Express card’s sign-up bonus is only available to a person once per lifetime, you may want to wait and see if an even sweeter offer comes around again.
